Come and join Sulzer Pumps UK in Leeds as our PS Scheduler. You will support the master scheduling function to ensure the flow of work into the business is consistent and completed in good time.

If you are highly motivated, well organised and a driven Scheduler/Planner who has good experience in this field we would love to hear from you! 

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Creating and maintaining detailed project plans in Microsoft Project and SAP for assigned projects as well as to provide schedules and plans for the overall business.
  • Providing support to ensure project progress and information is up to date including identifying critical paths
  • Reviewing assigned projects, ensuring provisions and authorisations are in place to carry out the planned tasks.
  • Maintaining databases and liaising with managers to resolve any potential barriers
  • Assisting in the completion of Key Performance Indicators and understanding the data recorded both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Creating and validating the SAP project structure to ensure that customer dates and project scope are fully reflected in the order related project schedule at the time of release

 

  • To succeed in this role, you will need:
    SAP knowledge of project scheduling module
    Relevant engineering knowledge to support the effectiveness of your understanding and efficiency in delivering the project schedules
    Experience in creating and maintaining project schedules is essential
    Excellent communications skills with an art for influencing, persuading and questioning
    Organised with a strong focus on the detail, whilst maintaining flexibility to suit the changing demands of schedules or the business
    Being motivated and driven will ensure you great success in this role
