About The Opportunity
As a Crypto Analyst at MELD, you’ll be a part of the Strategy and Investments team which is involved in all aspects of the MELD product offering, bringing a new, innovative Web3 neobank to the market. The areas we’ll train you in include:
Designing our Avalanche Subnet (gas fees, validator parameters, staking requirements etc)
Operationalising banking products to offer our customers fiat bank accounts and debit card
Working with a crypto exchange to add seamless Crypto <> Fiat ramps within our app
Creating the banking app with our technology team (from design to backend)
Creating simulations in-order to set the risk parameters of our lending and borrowing protocol.
Managing our treasury; finding yield for crypto and fiat assets.
During the internship, you will be working and exposed to all of these areas. In addition, you’ll be working closely with our CIO Gediminas, helping with the treasury management and helping set-up the crypto exchange functionality. In return, our CIO will provide you with mentorship, giving regular one-on-one contact to be able to develop your skills and expand your ability within the DeFi and Fintech field. We’ll also train you to help with setting the interest rates and risk parameters of our lending and borrowing protocol as well as be involved in the design of the Avalanche subnet and tokenomics.
During the process you will be buddied to our Senior Analyst (Mehul Odedra) to handle any queries and to help ensure you are able to complete tasks given to you. You will have regular meetings with him.
